I am committed to finding solutions that suit my clients’ needs, whether by alternative dispute resolution or, when necessary, bringing the matter to court. I focus on reducing my client’s stress during periods of life change and finding options that work for their long-term goals. Being a dual-qualified family law lawyer in Alberta and British Columbia, I have gained family law litigation experience in a broad range of challenging family law matters in the Provincial Court, Court of King’s Bench, and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.
I have been dedicated to building and supplementing a variety of diverse communities, with over 10 years of service to neighbourhoods, legal departments, and institutions of higher education. Since becoming an articled student in 2020 and crossing the bar in 2021, I have been working on equipping myself with didactic legal strategies to build my proficiency as a fierce advocate for my clients.
When I am not working, I enjoy traveling the world and eating throughout the places I visit. In my spare time, I like to try out new skincare products, trying new hiking trails, or petting the nearest dog at a local coffee shop.

Harneet earned her Juris Doctorate from Thompson Rivers University and was called to the BC bar in 2023. During law school, Harneet demonstrated exceptional legal acumen and leadership skills, serving as a member of the TRU Women in Law Society and Pro Bono Students Canadian Civil Liberties Association.
Harneet brings 8 years of client focused service to various industries each of which provided Harneet with the necessary skill set to be a fierce advocate for her clients.
Prior to joining DSG Family Law, Harneet gained valuable experience articling at a full-service law firm. This experience equipped Harneet with a deep understanding of family law amongst other practice areas.
Harneet understands that emotions run high in familial disputes. Harneet’s goal is to support and advocate for you through this uncertain time with sensitivity, compassion, and straight-forward legal advice. Harneet believes that a trusting relationship with her clients is key to achieving positive results.
